Before starting FINDING WORDS, I worked as a researcher and coordinator at Haus der Kulturen der Welt, Berlin, and as the managing editor of the Journal of Cultural Management and Cultural Policy (Zeppelin University / transcript).
I am trained as a cultural scholar and arts manager, with a focus on sociology. I wrote my PhD on artistic research. I studied in Halle and Friedrichshafen (both in Germany) as well as in Paris, and I speak German natively and English, French, and Spanish fluently.
I’m a member of the German Freelance Editors Association (VFLL) and the German-speaking Translators of Fictional and Scientific Works Association (VdÜ).
